The Sword, chapter V: Age of Fire

Home > The Sword > Chapter V

1300 - 1100 B.C. (BA D-Ha A1, early Urnfield). Here comes the story of how European warriors changed their world views, their ways of death and burial, and how a rugged and highly functional native European sword type came to enter the Eastern Mediterranean in an age of fire and destruction. The Early Urnfield corresponds to the centuries around the most common date of the Sea People phenomenon in the Mediterranean.
